Why do I need to start with Discovery?

Our Discovery phase allows us to come to an objective assessment of the current state of operations and culture. Coming out of Discovery BGP will provide a Strategic Roadmap outlining opportunities for value enhancement in your organization.

How do we know how many days of support we need?

We always start with a C-Suite tier “Discovery Phase” to develop a strategic roadmap of value-add opportunities for your company. We will collaborate to prioritize those initiatives and determine which projects BGP could help with and which projects are better suited for the internal team. From there - we discuss the recommended days of support!

Can I increase the number of days of support after Discovery?

Yes! It is not uncommon for clients to request the Discovery be limited to 1 Day of support each week and then to increase to the 2-day or 3-Day model for the implementation phase. We do ask for 30 days notice for the scope of support changes.

How do BGP’s costs compare to a full-time hire?

Typically, companies that approach fractional executives have problems or projects that:

  • Require specialized, diverse experience beyond the capabilities of the internal team.

Despite our slightly higher blended rate, which reflects our experience and value, we can offer immediate, cost-effective support through fractional teams. Plus, our fees are straightforward, with no extra costs like taxes, overtime, or benefits.

After Discovery, clients see a 33% lower blended rate. Our BGP team consistently delivers the same value at a reduced cost, passing those savings to the client.

Who is my primary point of contact at BGP?

Your primary contact will always be a Lead Partner. We provide experienced executives who work behind the scenes to lower costs while ensuring you have seasoned professionals to connect with, even at the Manager tier.

Why does Discovery have to be at the C-Suite Pricing?

Our C-Suite tier ensures that every billable hour comes from a BGP partner with prior executive-level experience. This experience is vital for focusing on initiatives that provide maximum value to our clients. The C-suite tier is typically only used for Discovery, Strategic Planning and Budgeting, and Fractional Executive support.

Note: We recommend the 1-day or 2-day pricing plan for the Discovery phase. The 3-day and 4-day C-suite models are better suited for Strategic Planning and Fractional Executive Support.
